Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join our leading eye care team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating eye conditions in children, provide comprehensive eye care for pediatric patients with a range of eye conditions, and perform surgical procedures, including strabismus surgery, pediatric cataracts, congenital glaucoma, and complex anterior segment surgeries. The role will also include managing amblyopia and congenital and developmental eye disorders, providing ROP screening and treatment, collaborating with subspecialists in a multidisciplinary environment, and contributing to teaching and academic initiatives.QualificationsFellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology & StrabismusBoard certification (or equivalent)Eligible for licensure with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH)Minimum 5 Years Of Post-fellowship Clinical ExperienceUVEITIS SPECIALIST OPHTHALMOLOGYAdditional Responsibilities (Uveitis Specialist)Provide expert care for patients with complex uveitis and ocular inflammatory disordersManage systemic and ocular immunosuppression therapiesPerform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic proceduresCollaborate with rheumatology and other medical specialties in a multidisciplinary settingEngage in teaching, research, and academic developmentAdditional Qualifications (Uveitis Specialist)Fellowship training in Uveitis/Ocular ImmunologyBoard certification (or equivalent)Eligible for licensure with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH)Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
