Consultant Emergency Medicine - Adult or Pediatrics

OverviewA leading government hospital in the UAE is seeking highly qualified Consultant Emergency Medicine physicians (Adult and/or Pediatric).The role involves delivering high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, aligned with international best practices and local regulatory standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert emergency medical care to adult and/or pediatric patients presenting with acute and life-threatening conditionsPerform rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and management of emergency casesLead and supervise emergency department clinical teams, including residents and nursing staffPerform and oversee emergency procedures in line with scope of practiceCollaborate closely with specialty consultants, ICU teams, and allied health professionalsEnsure accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standardsParticipate in clinical governance, audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiativesSupport teaching, mentoring, and training of junior medical staffAdhere to UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policiesRequirementsMedical Degree from an accredited institutionWestern Board Certification in Emergency MedicineAdult Emergency Medicine and/or Pediatric Emergency MedicineEligible for UAE Consultant licence (DOH / DHA / MOH, depending on emirate)Minimum 3–5 years’ post-board experience at Consultant levelStrong clinical decision-making and leadership skillsExcellent communication skills in EnglishAbility to work effectively in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency settingPreferred QualificationsFellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (for pediatric role)Previous experience working in tertiary or teaching hospitalsInternational healthcare experience (US / Canada / UK / Ireland / Australia preferred)WORK LOCATION - ABU DHABI.To view other vacancies we have, please check our website (www.blackpearlconsult.com) and follow us on our social media accounts - LinkedIn / Facebook / Twitter / InstagramDisclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
