<div><p><b>Job Title: Construction Specialist – Lifting&Scaffolding (Offshore Projects)</b></p><p><b>Location:</b>Sohar, Oman (Onshore / Offshore Fabrication Yard)<br/><b>Contract Type:</b>Fixed-Term Contract (36 Months)<br/><b>Schedule:</b>12 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation (6 days per week, 8–10 hours per day)</p><h3>Position Summary</h3><p>An opportunity is available for a Construction Specialist – Lifting&Scaffolding to support a major offshore energy development. The role provides specialist expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of fabrication yard activities, with a focus on lifting operations and scaffolding within coating and insulation scopes.</p><p>You will work closely with EPC contractors and project teams to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, construction standards, and safety regulations across all execution phases.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h3>Construction Support – Lifting&Scaffolding</h3><ul><li>Provide specialist support for lifting, scaffolding, and related fabrication yard activities</li><li>Ensure safe and effective execution of construction works in line with project objectives</li><li>Support contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project requirements</li></ul><h3>Technical Compliance and Constructability</h3><ul><li>Review engineering deliverables to ensure constructability and alignment with project standards</li><li>Assess compliance with technical requirements and construction specifications</li><li>Review and support resolution of deviations from approved construction standards</li></ul><h3>Project Execution and Monitoring</h3><ul><li>Monitor contractor progress and identify risks, deviations, or performance issues</li><li>Review progress reports and highlight critical concerns</li><li>Recommend corrective actions where required to maintain safety, quality, and schedule performance</li></ul><h3>Stakeholder and Contractor Coordination</h3><ul><li>Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and operations stakeholders</li><li>Ensure alignment across all lifting and scaffolding-related activities</li><li>Support coordination across construction, pre-commissioning, and completion phases</li></ul><h3>Safety, Quality and Compliance</h3><ul><li>Ensure full compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards</li><li>Participate in risk assessments, pre-job meetings, and technical coordination sessions</li><li>Ensure adherence to applicable industry codes, standards, and procedures</li></ul><h3>Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned</h3><ul><li>Contribute to project lessons learned (REX) and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Support implementation of best practices across construction activities</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science</li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in oil and gas construction projects</li><li>Strong expertise in lifting and scaffolding within large fabrication projects</li><li>Experience in offshore/onshore yard environments</li><li>Good understanding of construction execution, fabrication, lifting operations, and completions</li><li>Familiarity with international standards, codes, and HSE requirements</li><li>Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Rotation-based offshore/onshore project assignment</li><li>Long-term fixed-term contract (36 months)</li><li>Candidates must be eligible for project site requirements</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
