Job Title: Construction Lead – Structural (Offshore Jackets Fabrication)Location: Onshore / Offshore Project Site, QatarContract Type: 3-year contractSchedule: Project-BasedPosition SummaryAn opportunity is available for an experienced Construction Lead – Structural to support a major offshore energy development. The role is responsible for overseeing planning, preparation, and execution of large-scale jacket fabrication activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from yard fabrication through to load‑out.You will play a key role in ensuring constructability, compliance with engineering design intent, and alignment between contractor and company teams across all fabrication activities.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction and Fabrication ExecutionOversee planning and execution of offshore jacket fabrication activities from yard operations through to load‑outManage contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standardsEnsure safe and efficient execution of fabrication, mechanical completion, and related construction activitiesConstructability and Engineering InterfaceReview engineering deliverables to ensure constructability and alignment with project requirementsIdentify and resolve constructability issues in coordination with engineering and contractor teamsEnsure compliance with approved technical specifications and construction standardsProject Delivery and Performance MonitoringMonitor contractor progress and identify deviations, risks, or performance issuesRecommend corrective actions to maintain safety, quality, and schedule objectivesReview progress reports and highlight key issues impacting executionStakeholder and Contractor CoordinationLiaise with contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and operations stakeholdersEnsure alignment across all parties during construction, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phasesSupport smooth transition from fabrication to offshore execution activitiesSafety, Quality and ComplianceEnsure all activities comply with safety, health, environmental, and quality standardsParticipate in risk assessments, pre‑job meetings, and technical coordination sessionsEnsure adherence to relevant industry codes, standards, and proceduresContinuous Improvement and Lessons LearnedCapture and implement lessons learned from previous and ongoing projectsContribute to project improvement initiatives and best practice sharingRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 8 years of experience in oil and gas construction projectsStrong experience in large jacket fabrication or offshore structural projectsBackground in construction execution, fabrication, or completionsStrong knowledge of offshore facilities, yard operations and fabrication methodsFamiliarity with welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completions processesStrong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
