Job Title: Construction Lead – Electrical & IT (EIT) – Offshore ProjectsLocation: Sohar, Oman (Onshore / Offshore Fabrication Yard)Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (36 Months)Schedule: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, 6 days per week, 8–10 hours per dayPosition SummaryConstruction Lead – Electrical & IT (EIT) responsible for managing EPC contractor execution of electrical and IT scopes for a major LNG projectEnsures safe, compliant, and efficient delivery across fabrication, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases in a large-scale fabrication yard environmentKey ResponsibilitiesLead EPC contractor execution of electrical and IT construction activitiesOversee fabrication, installation, MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning scopeEnsure compliance with project engineering standards and technical requirementsReview constructability of engineering deliverables and identify issuesMonitor contractor progress, performance, and productivityReview progress reports and identify risks, delays, and quality concernsRecommend corrective actions to maintain safety, quality, and schedule targetsManage interfaces between contractor, engineering, and operations teamsEnsure HSE and quality compliance across all construction activitiesParticipate in risk assessments, pre-job meetings, and technical reviewsSupport lessons learned and continuous improvement initiativesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or ScienceMinimum 8 years of oil and gas construction experienceAt least 1 year in a supervisory or lead roleStrong experience in electrical and IT construction scopeExperience in LNG or large-scale fabrication yard projectsKnowledge of fabrication, testing, completion, and commissioning processesUnderstanding of construction standards, codes, and HSE requirementsStrong leadership and stakeholder coordination skillsAdditional Information36-month fixed-term contract12 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation6 days per week, 8–10 hours per dayFabrication yard environment in Sohar, Oman#J-18808-Ljbffr
