Collection Administrator – Real Estate

Job SummaryThe Collection Administrator (Real Estate) is responsible for managing and following up on customer receivables related to real estate transactions, including rentals, sales, service charges, and installment payments. The role ensures timely collections, accurate records, and coordination with clients, leasing, and sales teams to minimize overdue balances.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage receivables for real estate clients, including rentals, installments, and service chargesFollow up with tenants, buyers, and investors on outstanding payments through calls, emails, and noticesPrepare and share Statements of Account (SOA), payment reminders, and demand lettersCoordinate with Leasing, Sales, Property Management, and Accounts teams to resolve billing discrepanciesTrack post-dated cheques (PDCs), bank transfers, and cash receiptsUpdate ERP/property management systems with collections, follow-ups, and payment commitmentsPrepare aging reports and weekly/monthly collection status reportsSupport handover, renewal, and termination processes by ensuring payment clearanceAssist in escalation, legal follow-up, and penalty calculations for overdue accounts as per company policyMaintain proper documentation of contracts, invoices, receipts, and collection records.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 2–4 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable within the real estate industryStrong understanding of real estate contracts, leasing terms, and payment schedulesExperience handling rentals, service charges, installment-based payments, and PDCsProficiency in MS Excel and ERP/property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Oracle, SAP, or similar)Good communication and negotiation skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
