Civil Site Engineer

Job briefWe are looking for an accountable Civil Site Engineer to be responsible for managing and supervising all civil works at the project site. The role involves day‑to‑day site management, technical supervision, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring that construction activities are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules while maintaining quality, safety and cost efficiency.ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and supervise all civil construction activities at site, including effective allocation and management of manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure timely and quality execution of works.Oversee and ensure proper execution of shoring, dewatering, excavation, and backfilling operations.Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring their correct implementation on site.Monitor the progress of work, manpower, materials, and equipment usage, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets.Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams for approvals, inspections, and day‑to‑day project requirements.Attend site and coordination meetings, prepare progress reports, and highlight any issues or delays with proposed recovery plans.Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials and equipment.Prepare quantity take‑offs, bar bending schedules, and material requisitions as required.Maintain accurate site documentation including daily reports, inspection requests (WIR/MIR), and quality records.Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, quality plans, and safety standards.Provide technical guidance to site teams and ensure high standards of workmanship and quality.Collaborate with planning and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project objectives.Communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical supports.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 3‑6 years of working experience in the UAE/GCC, in water/waste water infrastructure projects including pumping stations & treatment plantsProven experience in RCC works, underground structures, shoring and dewateringFamiliarity with local authority standards and regulationsProficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project/PrimaveraAbility to work with multiple discipline projectsValid UAE driving licenseGood written and verbal communication in English & Hindi (Arabic preferred)Strong technical and site management skillsSalary Range: 5000 – 8000 AED#J-18808-Ljbffr
