Chief Financial Officer

LHH Middle East is partnering with a multinational industrial organization to appoint its next Chief Financial Officer for Abu Dhabi, UAE.The role will combine strong governance, financial leadership, and operational partnership across multiple international operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the overall finance function, including Accounting, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Financial Reporting.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and/or US GAAP standards.Provide strategic financial advisory to the CEO and COO, supporting business decisions, growth initiatives, and operational performance.Drive financial discipline across the organization, including margin analysis, margin optimization initiatives, and cost-efficiency programs.Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization, including DSO, DPO, and inventory management.Support and monitor cross-border financial structures, including transfer pricing and financial alignment across international operations.Contribute to strategic initiatives such as capital investments, licensing agreements, and potential M&A activities.Provide financial oversight for multiple operational entities, ensuring alignment with group strategy and financial objectives.Partner closely with operational teams to support the full product lifecycle from production to commercialization.Support or lead key corporate initiatives such as IPO readiness and capital market activities where applicable.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in finance leadership roles.Strong background across Accounting, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Financial Reporting.Mandatory experience within the manufacturing sector.Strong exposure to financial governance, tax, and controlling functions.Experience managing complex financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.Exposure to accounting practices across the UAE and international markets is advantageous; experience with Asian Industrial sites is highly desirable but not mandatory.Proven ability to operate as a strategic advisor to senior leadership while maintaining a hands‑on approach with operational teams.Experience with capital‑intensive environments and liquidity management strategies.Prior exposure to IPO processes, licensing agreements, and/or M&A activities is considered a strong advantage.Fluency in English is required.About LHHHeadquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, LHH is a global Executive Search and talent solutions partner with more than 25 years of experience.
