Chief Engineer

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a globally recognized logistics services company. Our client is seeking a Chief Engineer who will ensure that vessels are operated safely efficiently and in compliance with company policies client requirements and regulatory standards. The role involves technical oversight maintenance planning and collaboration with vessel crews to uphold operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure vessel operations adhere to marine best practices company/client procedures and local regulations.Maintain compliance with class statutory and client standards.Provide technical guidance to Vessel Masters and Chief Engineers as needed.Plan and oversee safe maintenance and repair operations.Operate monitor and assess engine performance and systems.Manage fuel ballast and electrical/electronic control equipment.Diagnose and rectify machinery faults promptly.Lead the marine engineering department ensuring proper maintenance of all onboard equipment.Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts fuel and oil.Support the reporting manager with assigned tasks.Ensure adherence to ISO 45001 Health Safety and Environment policies.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marine EngineeringValid STCW Certification Reg.
