This is an exciting opportunity to lead the commercial operations of a new shipbuilding project and contribute to the growth and success of the company.As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the new shipbuilding project. You will work closely with the senior management team and other key stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the commercial strategy for the new shipbuilding projectIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, both locally and internationallyNegotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholdersMonitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunitiesProvide guidance and support to the sales team in developing and closing dealsCollaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on timeBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to promote the company's services and capabilitiesMonitor and analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvementLead and motivate the commercial team to achieve targets and objectivesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipbuilding industryProven track record of successfully developing and implementing commercial strategiesStrong negotiation and contract management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of the shipbuilding industry and market trendsFluency in English, both written and spokenWillingness to relocate to Ajman, United Arab EmiratesIf you are a results-driven and strategic-minded professional with a passion for shipbuilding, we would love to hear from you.
