Chief Accountant

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.Supervise the accounting team and ensure adherence to IFRS and RERA accounting standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management review.Oversee all taxation matters including VAT, Corporate Tax, and Withholding Tax for all group entities.Ensure accurate intercompany transactions and group-level consolidation.Review and verify project-level financial statements, cost allocations, and Escrow reports.Manage the monthly and annual closing process with full accuracy and completeness. Prepare management reports, project profitability & other analysis, and cash flow forecasts.Maintain project-wise costing, revenue recognition, and cash flow forecasting.Track construction costs, consultant fees, contractor payments, and project budgets.Support feasibility studies and financial modelling for new projects.Manage escrow accounts as per Dubai Land Department (DLD) and RERA guidelines. Prepare escrow reports, reconcile statements, and coordinate with escrow agents.Oversee accounting system operations (ERP systems like Odoo, etc.). Drive automation and optimization of accounting processes. Ensure data accuracy, timely entries, and secure financial records.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.Masters in Finance / BusinessProfessional certification (CPA/ACCA/CMA) is highly desirable6+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in real estate development.Relevant Real Estate industry finance experience in UAE for minimum 2 yearsOther industry Finance related experience in managing large corporate finance functions is highly desirable.Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Strong experience with Real estate finance workflows, budgeting and Taxation.Excellent past experience and exposure to relevant ERP & CRM systemsAbility to Build, lead, and develop a high-performance finance organization.Strong in Accounting, Book Keeping, Reporting, Audit compliance.Effective time management and organizational abilities.Excellent past experience and exposure to relevant ERP & CRM systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
