Sika achieve higher employee engagement, attract top talent, and minimize unwanted turnover, contributing to better business success.Job DescriptionResponsible in R&D Department to develop new formulations of epoxy products, cementitious products and PU products.Responsible for defining QC specification for epoxy products, epoxy raw materials, cementitious raw material and cementitious products.Responsible for product modification (based on PMP request) of cementitious, Epoxy and PU products.Responsible for Lab instrument calibration and maintenance.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesigning and carrying out various trials in cementitious, epoxy and PU productsSourcing out new raw materials for cementitious, epoxy and PU productsVarious cost‑reduction exercises including introduction of cheap new raw materials, streamlining the product process and coordinating with the production teamBatch correction suggestionsTraining Lab technicians and ChemistsQ.C and R&D records monitoringAdheres to policies regarding confidential informationLiaison with production, technical service on day‑to‑day basisSupporting the lab manager with other tasks that may be delegatedQualificationsMajor degree in chemistry or related field2 years experience in construction chemicals in R&D departmentFluent in English language (reading, writing and speaking)Fluent in Arabic if possibleFully conversant with computer operations and good knowledge of softwareAdditional InformationSelf‑motivatedKnowledge in Facade and curtain wall marketProblem solving abilitiesExcellent communication in Arabic and EnglishTeamwork and team buildingInterpersonal skillsStrong negotiation skillsWorking under pressureWe offer competitive salaries, aligned with local market benchmarks and the specific scope and responsibilities of each role.
