Job Description

Description of the positionThe Channel Sales Engineer works with the Genetec Sales team in a pre‑sales role to develop and position solutions encompassing Genetec’s products. The Genetec product portfolio includes Video, Access control and LPR. The CSE is responsible for all of the technical aspects of the sale during the entire sales cycle. The CSE will cover the Middle East and provide support in Africa.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software and hardware solutionDefine product and functional requirements based on customer and partner requirementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partnersConduct in‑depth product demonstrations and presentationsSupport sales team in responding to RFP’sParticipate in trade shows, exhibitions and seminarsCreate white papers and application notes on Genetec’s software solutionsProvide feedback from the field to Product ManagementQualificationsGeneral criteriaExperience in sales engineering or field engineering for an IT or security company.Possessstrong troubleshooting skillsTravel within territory at a minimum 40% of the timeTechnical expertiseKnowledge of security systemsVideo devices and software or Access Control systemsNetworking principles and the IP protocolWindows Operating Systems.PC configurationGeneral IT technologiesLanguage skillsFrench, English and ArabicGenetec is an equal opportunity employer, we strive for diversity and inclusion through our recruitment approach as well as the training and professional development we provide.
