The role is for a leader to manage the team working with our key Resellers and Distributors in the Emerging region and to lead channel development as we transition to Cloud & Service Provider engagements. We are looking for an established business leader to take our Channel relationships to the next level. The role includes hiring the right talent, effective deployment of the team, setting expectations, coaching, managing performance, pipeline management, and collaboration with other sales resources (Enterprise Sales, Sales Engineering, Renewals).HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:Overall responsibility for all Reseller & Distributor activity and to deliver strong growth.Lead, manage & develop the Channel sales team.Achieve & exceed annual revenue plans and drive accountability to build the Cohesity brand with existing and new partners.Transition our business with new Partner relationships focused on Cloud and As‑A‑Service routes to market.Maintain an understanding of the strategic directions of Cohesity at a corporate & regional level to develop & execute an aligned channel strategy.Creation and ownership of the Emerging Channel Plan, including the effective development of existing partners.Achievement of quarterly financial & non‑financial targets.Engage with Cohesity channel team, district managers, RVPs, field sales, pre‑sales and Marketing, and support teams to execute the plan.Ownership of business relationships with key strategic partners.Oversee the Emerging team’s engagement with Resellers and Distributors to structure each partner engagement go‑to‑market strategy.Influence Partner sales teams to ensure that Cohesity is “front and center” and always included in their collaboration business opportunities.Evangelize Cohesity’s solutions to Partners and their customers.WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Strong history in leading a Channel & Alliance business.Fundamental understanding of the Emerging market.Proven experience in a leadership role.Proven track record of success.Ability to influence effectively with key stakeholders.Strong customer and partner network.Ability to analyse sales data and determine appropriate actions to create desired outcomes.Must be able to manage multiple priorities with highly effective follow‑through skills.Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.Data Privacy Notice for Job Candidates: For information on personal data processing, please see our Privacy Policy.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer (EEOE) Cohesity is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
