OverviewJob Title: CarpenterLocation: Sharjah, UAESalary: 1500 AED/MonthJob DescriptionWe are looking for a professional Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden structures and products. This position requires an individual who can work with accuracy and efficiency while adhering to safety standards.ResponsibilitiesMeasure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk and marking gauge.Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, screws or glue.Follow blueprints or drawings to ensure correct assembly of structures.Build window frames, doors and subflooring etc.Install finished products including cabinets, shelves etc. using hand tools such as hammers or drills etc.Fill joints with putty or other appropriate material as per instructions of supervisor or customer instructions.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as a carpenter in a similar roleExperience in working with carpentry materialsKnowledge of safety standards associated with carpentry workAbility to read technical documents such as blueprints/drawings is an assetWe welcome applications from immigrants.
