Caregiver – Home Health Care (DHA Eligibility Letter Required)

OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support patients in home health care settings across Dubai. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Eligibility Letter and be in the process of converting it into a full license. The Caregiver will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, providing essential daily living assistance and emotional support to patients and families.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support.Provide companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to patients and families.Support patients with safe positioning, movement, and exercise as guided by the care team.Monitor and report changes in patient behaviour, comfort, or condition to the supervising nurse.Help with basic household tasks related to patient care (e.g., preparing light meals, keeping the patient’s environment safe and clean).Educate and guide patients and families on basic hygiene, nutrition, and home safety practices.Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed in all caregiving activities.Maintain accurate and simple daily care notes as required.Uphold patient dignity, respect cultural sensitivities, and provide care with compassion.Qualifications & EligibilityDHA Eligibility Letter for Caregiver (process of activation to full license).Completed Caregiver Training Program / Certificate recognised by DHA.Minimum 1–2 years of caregiving experience, preferably in home care, hospital, or community settings.Basic knowledge of infection prevention, hygiene, and safe patient handling.Preferred Skills & CompetenciesExperience in supporting elderly, chronically ill, or disabled patients.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.Organised, reliable, and adaptable in home environments.Working ConditionsFull‑time role with flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends as required.Work involves travel to patient homes across Dubai.Direct patient care role with supportive (non‑medical) responsibilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
