Our ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional surgical expertise, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients with cardiothoracic conditionsDevelop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans based on comprehensive patient evaluationsPerform various surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary bypass surgeries, valve repairs, and thoracotomiesUtilize minimally invasive surgical techniques to optimize patient recovery and outcomesCollaborate with critical care teams to manage patient care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settingsMonitor patient progress, addressing any complications promptly and effectivelyContribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the cardiothoracic departmentMaintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulationsRequirementsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of a General Surgery residency and Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowshipBoard certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is preferredAt least 5 years of clinical experience in a cardiothoracic surgical roleDemonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of cardiac and thoracic surgical proceduresStrong understanding of surgical innovation and advancements in cardiothoracic careExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented settingAbility to act decisively in high-pressure situations and make critical medical decisionsCommitment to continuing education and staying current with developments in cardiothoracic surgeryValid state medical license to practiceBenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePaid Time OffTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
