Madar enables seamless shipment execution, financial integration, and real-time tracking — redefining the future of logistics in the Kingdom and beyond.Madar is seeking a Capacity Planning Manager (FLT) to join our growing team and play a key role in optimizing our freight network operations. In this role, you will be responsible for balancing supply and demand across lanes, forecasting shipment volumes, and ensuring sufficient carrier capacity to maintain high load coverage and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Operations, Carrier Acquisition, Pricing, and Product teams to identify capacity gaps, improve lane utilization, and reduce empty miles. Your insights and analysis will support strategic planning, stabilize margins, and enhance the overall performance of Madar’s freight platform.Role OverviewThe Capacity Planning Manager (FLT) is responsible for ensuring the optimal balance between supply and demand across lanes and regions. The role focuses on maximizing load coverage, minimizing spot market volatility, and protecting margins through strategic planning and capacity optimization. This position plays a key role in improving network efficiency and supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDemand ForecastingForecast shipment volumes by lane, region, and season.Analyze historical shipping patterns and peak demand cycles.Support the Sales team in tender planning and volume projections.Supply PlanningDetermine the required carrier capacity per lane.Identify capacity gaps in advance.Collaborate with the Carrier Acquisition team to secure additional capacity when needed.Lane StrategyDefine and prioritize strategic freight lanes.Improve round‑trip utilization and network efficiency.Reduce empty miles across the network.Develop strategic carrier allocation strategies.Risk & Contingency PlanningPrepare surge capacity plans during peak demand periods.Monitor real‑time supply shortages and operational risks.Develop and maintain backup carrier pools.Cross - Functional CoordinationAlign with the Pricing team to support rate strategies.Coordinate with Operations to ensure execution feasibility.Support the Product team with insights for automation and system improvements.Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics planning, freight operations, or network optimization.Strong analytical and forecasting skills with the ability to interpret shipment data and market trends.Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Solid understanding of freight lane economics, carrier capacity management, and transportation markets.Strong problem‑solving, planning, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
