With a strong presence throughout the region and projects/centre of operation in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai & Sharjah they employ over 2000 people.As part of their planned strategy to increase their presence in the commercial construction sector they now seek to employ a new Business Development Manager, a pivotal role of great importance to the company’s planned growth.A busy hands on role your duties will include the following;ResponsibilitiesIdentification and qualification of new clients within the construction industryPresentation and selling of construction services in an effective mannerEnsure maintenance of excellent long term relationships with various parties including owners’ ‘representative, architects, interior designers as well as with internal departmentsBe responsible for the presentation and negotiation of contractsKeep the client informed of the progress of the project and carry out a review upon the project’s completionBe responsible for the negotiation of contractual adaptations or extensions when neededKeep abreast of new trends/opportunities within the construction market sectorInvolvement in preparation of marketing collateral and website contentEnglish - Fluent / ExcellentArabic - Very GoodOwn a CarAnyHave Driving LicenseAnyJob SkillsThe successful candidate will have the following skills/qualifications:Complete fluency in English both written and spoken – candidates who also speak Arabic are particularly encouraged to applyPosession of a Bachelor’s Degree gained in Construction Management Engineering, Marketing or Business5-7 years of business development experience gained locally within the construction and/or engineering industryEvidence of strong customer relationship building skills including local contactsBe organized and detail orientated with the ability to self motivate and function effectively both autonomously and as a team memberAbout The CompanyKershaw Leonard is committed to finding ‘First Class’ people for its ‘World Class’ Clients.
