Business Analyst

Role OverviewOur client isseeking a versatile Business Analyst with strong Quality Assurance (QA) capabilities and UI/UX design awareness to join their in-house development and support team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, while also contributing to testing strategies and early-stage design through wireframing and prototyping. Experience in domains such as smart cities, smart parks and content management platforms is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and use casesCollaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirementsTranslate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteriaDesign and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated)Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Create UI/UX wireframes and interactive prototypesIdentify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risks in requirements and solutionsWork closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to ensure alignmentSupport defect tracking, triage, and resolution processesMaintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, test reports, and traceability matricesRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on QA involvementStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA processesExperience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or Azure DevOpsAbility to write and execute test cases and perform defect analysisFamiliarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plusProficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or SketchStrong grasp of user-centered design principles and ability to translate requirements into visual conceptsPrior experience working with ticketing system, hardware/IoT and content management systemStrong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases)Familiarity with cloud platforms, dashboards, and analytics used in IoT solutionsExperience with process mapping, workflow design, and gap analysisExperience with UAT planning, execution, and defect managementExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Design, or related fieldExperience in enterprise-scale or government-related projects is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
