You will be responsible for the preparation of quality coffee drinks for our customers. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare coffee drinks according to customer specificationsCheck coffee machines and grinders on a regular basis and make necessary adjustments when neededReceive orders from customers and serve them promptly in a friendly mannerEnsure all equipment is clean and sanitized at all timesMaintain an accurate record of all transactions in the point-of-sale systemFollow safety regulations when operating equipment and handling food itemsHelp maintain the general cleanliness of the café by wiping down counters, organizing shelves, etc. as neededPerform other related duties as assigned by managementRequirementsPrevious experience working as a Barista or similar role is preferredKnowledge of coffee preparation techniques and terminology is preferredAbility to work quickly without compromising quality or customer serviceExcellent communication skills with customers and colleagues alikeAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentWe are open to considering a foreigner for this position provided they can demonstrate their suitability for the role.
