The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical components on a variety of motor vehicles. This is an entry-level position and we are ready to consider applicants with no experience.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Diagnose and repair electrical components in a variety of vehicles</li><li>Test and repair wiring systems, accessories, and ignition systems on cars and light trucks</li><li>Inspect electronic systems on vehicles such as air conditioning systems, safety equipment, and anti-lock braking systems</li><li>Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance such as tune-ups, oil changes, and battery replacements</li><li>Troubleshoot issues with vehicle electronics such as onboard computers or sensors</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required; Vocational or Technical school training preferred</li><li>Ability to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems with vehicle electronics</li><li>Basic understanding of automotive mechanical principles such as engine operation, suspension, brakes etc.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills</li></ul><p>We are willing to consider hiring an immigrant for this position.
