Your journey starts here.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Audio-Visual Technician supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV and IT systems, ensuring all studio and broadcast equipment operates efficiently and according to technical plans.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGInstall various AV and IT equipment in the new studios accordingly to the plan or diagram provided by the Broadcast EngineerAssemble professional video cameras, including lens, on board monitor and power suppliesInstall professional video cameras in the studio and connect them via SDI wires to server room equipmentEnsure all digital video signals from cameras reach the desired equipment (video switcher, capturing device, monitor)Run low voltage wiring (Video, Audio and Network Cabling) through our studios and facility, installing Server Racks, cameras and NVR/DVR and other aspects of our technology infrastructureRun SDI, XLR and ethernet cables; tipping wire, crimping and testing is a large part of installationsInstall professional studio lighting fixtures and modifiers according to the lighting schemeAnalyse and repair technical faults on equipment and systemsMinimize loss of service when equipment fails by quickly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provisionWHAT WE ASK OF YOUExperienced with assembling / disassembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing computers / hardwareKnowledge and use of basic test equipment such as multimeters, as well as basic AC/DC circuitry is preferredKnowledge of installing and soldering components on printed circuit boards following specificationsBasic knowledge of installing operating systems, Windows and Linux is requiredInstall and configure computer peripheral devices and drivers like monitors, scanners and additional boardsHave some understanding of a television control room environmentEagerness to learn new technical skillsBasic knowledge operating a video cameraBasic understanding of sound equipment like microphones and audio mixersUnderstanding of photography concepts like aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed, exposure and camera lenses is a plus.WHAT WE OFFER IN EXCHANGEPrivate Health Insurance25 days annual leaveVisa application support (the company covers the cost)#J-18808-Ljbffr
