Chalhoub Group is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and to have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2040.What you’ll be doingPrepare and file accurate VAT returns for UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, Egypt (is a plus) reconciling sales, purchases, and adjustments monthly/quarterlyReview invoices, ledgers, and ERP data (e.g., SAP/Oracle) to validate input/output VAT, deferrals, and apportionments per local rulesCoordinate with relevant stakeholders on reconciliations, audit queries, and adjustments for e-invoicing, and cross-border suppliesMonitor GCC VAT law updates (e.g., FTA, ZATCA, GAFI) and implement changes in reporting processesSupport external audits and tax authority responses with documentation and schedules.What you’ll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field2+ years' experience in VAT complianceAccounting knowledge for ledger analysis, reconciliations, and financial statement impactsProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), ERP systems, and familiarity with GCC tax portalsStrong analytical skillsA professional certification e.g., ACCA, CPA, or VAT-specific would be appreciatedExperience in retail/distribution across GCC is a plus.What we can offer youWith us,you will turn your aspirations into reality.
