Associate Director - Interior Design Architecture

ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of interior designers and architects fostering creativity and professional growthDevelop and implement design strategies aligned with client objectives and project requirementsOversee multiple largescale interior design projects from concept to completionCollaborate with clients, stakeholders and team members to ensure project success and client satisfactionPresent design concepts and proposals to clients incorporating feedback and revisions as neededEnsure compliance with regional building codes, regulations and sustainable design practicesManage project budgets, timelines and resources effectivelyStay current with industry trends and innovative design solutions to maintain a competitive edgeContribute to business development efforts and cultivate client relationshipsQualificationsBachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in interior design and architecture with a proven track record of managing largescale projectsProfessional certification in interior design preferredProficiency in interior design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D MaxStrong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and writtenDemonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing design teamsUnderstanding of sustainable design practices and their implementationCreative problem‑solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environmentStrong portfolio showcasing diverse interior design projectsAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
