Assistant Professor in Psychiatric and Mental Health NursingUnited Arab EmiratesJob DescriptionPosition TitleAssistant Professor in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing (Full-Time)DepartmentNursing DepartmentQualifications and ExperienceDoctoral degree in Nursing (PhD) with a specialization in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from a well-reputed universityDemonstrated clinical expertise in psychiatric and mental health nursing practiceRecord of, or potential for, scholarly contributions (publications, research funding, presentations)Graduate of accredited universities that use the credit hour system, with English as the medium of instructionMinimum of two (2) years of teaching experienceExperience in supervising student projects and thesis dissertationsProficient use of educational technologies (presentations, e-learning systems, and academic reporting tools)Preference will be given to candidates with strong research output and relevant industry or clinical experience in mental health careEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver courses in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, in alignment with the University’s three core standards: Teaching, Research, and ServiceEvaluate and monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support student successResearch, organize, and manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networksIdentify and apply effective teaching methods, procedures, and resources to achieve course objectivesSupport and actively participate in accreditation and quality assurance initiativesPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequired SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to develop and deliver effective academic presentationsAbility to work effectively within a diverse, multidisciplinary teamStrong skills in creating, composing, and editing academic materialsProgram planning and implementation skillsKnowledge of computerized student information systemsNotesOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted#J-18808-Ljbffr
