The Assistant Nurse plays a key role in supporting physicians and nursing teams, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and continuity of care at our Discovery Gardens.Role OverviewThis is a clinic‑based Assistant Nurse role supporting physicians and nursing staff in the delivery of outpatient care at our Discovery GardensThe role is well suited to an Assistant Nurse with hands‑on clinical experience who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced outpatient setting, supporting patient assessments, procedures, and day‑to‑day clinical operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport qualified nurses and physicians in the delivery of high‑quality patient careObserve, measure, and record patient vital signs, reporting abnormalities to the medical teamDeliver patient‑centered care, ensuring consent, dignity, privacy, and safety at all timesAssist in the management of patients with chronic conditions including respiratory, cardiac, and diabetic conditionsProvide assistance during clinical procedures and examinations as directedDocument patient care activities accurately in medical and nursing recordsMaintain continuity of care by communicating patient needs, actions taken, and observations to the clinical teamRespond appropriately to emergency situations and escalate to the medical team in line with training and scope of practiceAttend mandatory training including annual resuscitation and emergency response updatesProvide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their familiesSupport infection control policies and safeguarding procedures in line with local regulations and Al‑Futtaim Health guidelinesAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport the safe operation and basic maintenance of clinical equipmentAssist with stock control and management of nursing suppliesParticipate in ongoing professional development and mandatory training activitiesMaintain professional standards and contribute to a positive team environmentCandidate ProfileDHA‑licensed or DHA‑eligible Assistant Nurse (mandatory)Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an accredited healthcare facilityStrong clinical support skills within an outpatient or clinic environmentCompetent in assisting physicians and supporting nursing proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatient‑focused, caring, and professional in approachTeam‑oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast‑paced settingFluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an advantageQualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in NursingValid DHA License or Eligibility as an Assistant Nurse (mandatory)Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory)Strong computer literacy skillsExperience or training in areas such as:Patient assessment and monitoring of vital signsECG assistanceWound care and dressingsInfection control proceduresVenipuncture and blood samplingIV cannulationBlood sugar monitoring and POCTClinical documentationWhat We Offer5‑day working weekCompetitive salary and benefits packageHealth insurance, life assurance, and generous leaveSupportive multidisciplinary clinical teamOngoing training and professional developmentClinic location: Discovery GardensAbout Al-Futtaim HealthcareWe Hear Your Ambition.For over 90 years, the Al-Futtaim Group has been bringing the world’s leading brands of lifestyle watches, cars, home furnishings and fashion to the UAE.
