Assistant Manager - IT SAP Application

This position is responsible for supportingseniors in the management of the overall operations of the IT department, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively and that the departmentis aligning its ongoing projects with the goals of the organization. This position will be responsible for the IT Help Desk operations and qualityeffectiveness assessment of the projects done by the project/s team/s.RequirementsParticipatingin the organizational strategic planning exercise to ensure accurate andachievable objectives are defined pertaining to organization technologycapabilities;Supporting inthe preparation of departmental budget and cost estimates for plannedinitiatives;Supporting inconducting feasibility studies, cost benefit comparisons, selection of vendorsand implementation of IT infrastructure, etc.;Supporting inthe implementation of specialized learning solutions, such as LearningManagement System;Management ofIT desktop and web based applications;Management ofoverall IT operations, such as helpdesk support, etc.;Supporting inthe information security management and effective control over the flow ofinformation capital; andManagingdisaster recovery and business continuity plan.Overseeingand reviewing overall IT procurement.
