Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Banquet Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our banquet operations you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing daily banquet operations and event executionCollaborate with various departments to coordinate and deliver exceptional guest experiencesManage and motivate the banquet team fostering a positive and productive work environmentEnsure timely and precise setup of banquet spaces according to event specificationsMonitor and maintain quality standards for food beverage and service deliveryAssist in creating and implementing innovative banquet concepts and service ideasConduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills and maintain service standardsManage inventory control costs and optimize resource allocation for banquet operationsAddress guest concerns promptly and professionally ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionAssist in scheduling and staffing to meet operational needs and budget requirementsEnsure compliance with health safety and hygiene regulations in all banquet areasParticipate in pre- and post-event briefings providing valuable insights for continuous improvementCollaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and customize event offeringsQualificationsBachelors degree in Hospitality Management Restaurant Management or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in a luxury hotel settingProven track record of leadership and team management in a banquet or events environmentStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick effective decisionsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detailProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel Outlook) and banquet management softwareOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageousIn-depth understanding of banquet operations event planning and catering servicesThorough knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulationsExperience with inventory management and cost control in a banquet settingAbility to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidaysCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiencesAdaptability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environmentStrong analytical skills for evaluating and improving banquet operationsAdditional InformationMinimum 1 year of experience in the same or similar rolePrior experience working with Opera or a related systemStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesFluency in English additional languages are a plusRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
