RAK Ceramics is publicly listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and the Dhaka Stock Exchange.The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Architectural Draftsman to join our Interior Design Department at RAK Ceramics HQ in Ras Al Khaimah. This role plays a critical part in turning design concepts into precise technical drawings for execution. You will prepare 2D and 3D layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings aligned with RAK Ceramics’ product range and standards. Collaboration with designers and technical teams will be key to successful project delivery.What You Will Be DoingPrepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on design concepts and technical inputsDevelop layout plans, elevations, tile setting-outs, and joinery/shop drawingsCreate accurate technical documentation for internal and external useAlign all drawings with RAK Ceramics product formats, specifications, and detailing standardsUpdate and revise drawings based on design feedback or site requirementsMaintain organized CAD files, drawing logs, and documentation archivesCoordinate with the design team, product teams, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth executionMonitor project timelines to ensure drawings are delivered on timeStay updated on new RAK Ceramics products and integrate them effectively in project layoutsWhat We Are Looking ForFunctionalStrong drafting and detailing skills using AutoCAD (required)Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant software (preferred)Knowledge of tile, slab, and fit-out detailingAbility to interpret architectural and interior design drawingsUnderstanding of technical design documentation standardsBasic understanding of construction materials and methodsBehavioralHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively across teamsCommitment to meeting project deadlinesProactive and adaptable to feedback and changeOur Ideal MatchA diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related technical field1–3 years of experience in architectural drafting or interior detailingProven ability to prepare high-quality technical drawings and layoutsFamiliarity with ceramic product application is an advantageMobility RequirementsNational Travel: Occasionally (for site visits or coordination meetings)International Travel: Not requiredRAK Ceramics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, nationality, disability, age, or marital status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
