OverviewJob Title: Application Tester – Manual TestingEmployment Type: Full-Time / Contract (as applicable)Experience: 3 to 5 YearsLocation: UAENationality: UAE National (Emirati) – MandatoryReporting To: Test Lead / QA Manager / IT Applications ManagerJob PurposeThe Application Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of banking applications through comprehensive manual testing. The role focuses on validating functional, regression, and user acceptance requirements across core banking, digital, and internal enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with Invest Bank’s quality and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test casesPerform manual functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing for banking applicationsExecute test cases and document results clearly and accuratelyIdentify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps or similar)Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and resolve defectsParticipate in UAT support, including test execution, coordination with business users, and sign-off activitiesEnsure testing aligns with banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal IT governancePrepare and maintain test documentation including:Test PlansTest CasesTest Execution ReportsDefect ReportsSupport release cycles and production readiness activitiesAdhere to QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the QA functionRequired Skills & Experience3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Manual Application TestingPrior experience in Banking or Financial Services environment is mandatory.Strong understanding of:SDLC & STLCFunctional and Regression TestingUAT processesExperience testing:Web applicationsInternal enterprise systemsDigital or banking platforms (advantage)Proficiency in test case design techniques and defect lifecycle managementStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skillsCertifications (Mandatory)ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or above)CSTE CertificationEducationBachelor’s Degree in:Computer ScienceInformation TechnologyEngineeringor a related discipline#J-18808-Ljbffr
