From increasing vaccine delivery, to providing better education access for children, our consultants are helping millions of people to access better services around the world.Join us if you want the opportunity to do the same.How will you make an impact?The Accounts Payable Accountant will play an important role in ensuring that supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and related payments are processed accurately and on time. This position forms part of Acasus’ centralised Accounts Payable (AP) function, which supports all entities and branches worldwide.Based in Dubai, this role reports to the Senior AP Accountant and works closely with the Finance Manager and shared service centre in Budapest. The role is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, focusing on the daily execution of AP and expense processes, vendor communication, reconciliations, and documentation.The successful candidate will be a meticulous, reliable, and proactive team player who takes ownership of their work, while contributing to the efficiency and integrity of Acasus’ financial operations.Tasks and responsibilities:Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all approvals and supporting documents are completed before posting.Record transactions in the ERP system (Certinia/Salesforce) in line with organisational policies and the chart of accounts.Monitor invoice and payment status, assisting in the preparation and scheduling of supplier payments.Verify and process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and proper documentation.Maintain up-to-date and well‑organised digital records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents for audit purposes.Reconcile vendor statements and AP subledgers, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities by preparing reconciliations, accruals, and reports as required.Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice or payment‑related issues.Assist in maintaining and updating supplier master data in the ERP system.Support the Senior AP Accountant and Finance Manager in implementing process improvements and automation initiatives.Provide accurate and timely information to auditors and external service providers when required.Uphold confidentiality and data integrity standards in all financial transactions.We are looking for:A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, preferably in an international or multi‑entity environment.Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment cycles.Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Salesforce/Certinia is a plus.Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and reconciliations.Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a service‑oriented mindset.A proactive, reliable, and team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.What’s in it for you?A competitive compensation package, including a base salary, private health insurance, cafeteria benefits, and annual performance‑based bonus.High levels of responsibility and autonomy.Opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive team.The chance to see your work make a tangible impact on health and education services every day.Opportunities to connect with colleagues worldwide at annual global conferences.Our team is diverse in nationality, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, class, age, education and sexuality.
