We empower our customer to focus on its missions, confident that its land-based platforms and systems, warfightersJob Description:• Assist in the performance of technical inspections, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, rebuild, overhauling and/or servicing of both light and heavy track vehicle systems.• Provide assistance to all light and heavy track vehicle technicians who are performing maintenance repair, rebuild, overhauling and/or servicing in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical manuals and the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).• Assist in the repair or replacement of major assemblies (powerpacks, engines, transmissions, final drives) and their associated sub-assemblies (starters, generators, alternators, suspension arms, road wheels, track).• Assist in the accomplishment of preventive maintenance (scheduled servicing) in accordance with all directives and the manufacturer’s technical manuals.• Complete maintenance related documentation such as, work orders, repair parts request forms and technical data sheets. Record maintenance related data such as work accomplished, hour’s associated accomplishing work, repair parts requirements and vehicle specific information.• Comply with all safety, housekeeping, and environmental directives.• Ensure all issued tools, uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE) are accounted for, maintained, and secured.• Ensure all residual serviceable repair parts are returned to the Workshop Store.• Ensure all unserviceable, repairable (direct exchange) repair parts are cleaned, drained and returned to the Workshop Store.• Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, Apprentice Program.Experience and Education:• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.• Completion of formal vocational training is required.• Able to interpret simple hydraulic and electrical schematics.• Familiarity with the use of diagnostic testing equipment is desired.• Capable of reading, speaking and writing English.• Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE Driver’s License.#J-18808-Ljbffr
