Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. The Accounting Manageris responsible for driving team performance and getting the most out of individual contributors.A reliable Accounting Manager shall delegate, supervise, and participate in accounting department tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members, develop and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.Accounting Manager duties and responsibilitiesPlan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategyOversee accounting daily operationsCoordinate, perform and complete annual auditsManage the company's financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assetsDevelop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting informationMonitor and analyze accounting data and regularly produce financial reports or statementsEstablish and adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principlesPrepare and present KPIs to stakeholdersEncourage other employees to adhere to standardsRecruit, train and hire new employeesProvide recommendationsImprove systems and procedures and initiate corrective actionsAssign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracyEstablish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactionsAccounting Manager skills and qualificationsBS degree in Accounting or FinanceProven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance ManagerSound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, practices, standards, laws and regulationsProficient in tax preparation software and databasesGreat interpersonal and verbal communication skillsSuperior data management and data analysis skillsStrong time management, supervisory and organizational skillsHigh detail-oriented with a passion for accuracyAdvanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databasesStrong leadership, ability to direct and superviseMust be highly motivated and have the ability to function independently and multi-taskCritical thinker and problem, conflicts and complaints-solving skillsSense of ownership and pride in the performance and its impact on company's success#J-18808-Ljbffr
