Today, Aldar Education’s efforts are guided by the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 plan, which aims to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy through premium education.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.ResponsibilitiesSpecific DutiesStrategic ResponsibilitiesEnsure Accounts Receivable GL Accounts are accurate and collection within due dateSupport Principal to build/modify school budget, support HQ finance to close the period accurately and timely manner and review monthly MIS with PrincipalEnsure to achieve KPIs set to achieve finance excellence Functional ResponsibilitiesEnsure invoicing for all types of billing such as tuition fees, exam fees, trips, and other invoicing are completed accurately within the timelineCall parents on daily basis to follow up for payment collectionIssue receipts on daily basis to ensure bank reconciliation accurateProvide bank statements with receipt numbers to Treasury Accountant to perform receipt clearingManage petty cash and ensure all petty cash payments are made as per company policies and DOAEnsure revenue recognition and Accounts Receivable GL Accounts are accurate before closing the monthCo-ordinate with HQ finance for the school annual budget and strategic plan preparationsSupport HQ finance staff for monthly closing activities accurately and timely mannerEnsure to meet the timeline for daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements and adhoc reportsEnsure school team is adhere with the policies and procedures and support them wherever requiredSupport Principal wherever possible to ensure smooth finance operationQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accountingMinimum Experience5+ Years’ experience in finance function.Job Specific Knowledge & SkillsFluent English communication skills, written and oral.Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.Skilled in multi-tasking and handling pressureAdvanced excel skills with proven financial modelling experienceProficient in accounting softwareDeadline oriented and take ownership of workExcellent analytical capabilities and hands on experience in MS Office presentationsOrganizational ability, of self and others.Excellent interpersonal skills.Advanced Accounting PrincipalsWhat We OfferAldar Education are a family of world-class, child centered, and innovative schools based in the UAE.
