Accountant vacancy in Ras-al-Khaimah UAEAccountant in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAESalary: 1200 AED/monthWe are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and engaging in the evaluation of financial data.Job Summary:The Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accurate maintenance of financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Accountant will provide support to the Finance Department and will ensure accuracy of records by verifying, reconciling, and analyzing account information.Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank accounts on a daily basisAssist with month end close process by preparing journal entries as requestedPrepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accountsGenerate timely financial reports such as cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets, and other ad hoc reports as neededEnsure accuracy of invoices by verifying calculations against supporting documentationPrepare income tax returns, sales tax returns, payroll tax returns, etc.Review existing accounting processes for efficiency improvementsQualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field requiredProfessional accounting certification (CPA/CA) preferred but not requiredProven experience as an Accountant or similar roleSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping proceduresExcellent knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills with attention to detailPreferred Skills:Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to analyze financial data effectivelyGood communication skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesWe are willing to consider applications from immigrants who meet the requirements above.#J-18808-Ljbffr
