This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting timely tax filings and full adherence to UAE tax regulations. The ideal candidate will manage core accounting functions including accounts receivable, monthly sales analysis, journal entries, reconciliations and credit control while maintaining compliance with local tax laws.ResponsibilitiesVAT & FTA Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with UAE VAT laws and regulations.Prepare and submit VAT returns to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).Keep track of VAT-related transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy in reporting.General Accounting: Manage general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and month-end closing processes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and journals.Tax Filings: Assist in preparing tax returns ensuring that all filings are completed accurately and on time.Collaborate with auditors during the year-end audit process.Invoicing and Payments: Review and process incoming invoices ensuring that they are in line with company policies.Oversee payments to suppliers, vendors and contractors.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow ensuring sufficient funds for daily operations.Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures.Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain and organize financial records ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.Ensure secure filing of accounting documents for easy retrieval and reference.Other Duties: Assist in any other tasks as assigned by management.RequirementsExperience: Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.Experience with VAT and FTA compliance is a must.Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field.Skills: Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations.Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Zoho Books).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office tools.Languages: Proficient in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and organizational skills.Salary & BenefitsSalary: AED 4000 per monthVisa: Provided#J-18808-Ljbffr
