Accountant - Emirati National

An Accountant in the airport sector manages financial records, budgeting, and reporting specific to airport operations and projects. They ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial management aligned with airport regulatory and commercial frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for airport operations, projects, and departments.Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and forecasts for airport projects and operational units.Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor invoices, payments, and airport revenue streams such as landing fees, leases, and concessions.Cost Control: Monitor expenses against budgets; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, airport authority regulations, and audit requirements.Coordination: Work with internal departments and external auditors to support financial audits and regulatory filings.RequirementsExperience Requirements:Experience in accounting or finance roles within the airport, aviation, or transportation sector is preferred.Knowledge of airport-specific revenue streams and financial regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Key Skills:Strong financial analysis and reporting abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyUnderstanding of regulatory and compliance frameworksEffective communication and coordination skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
